Welcome to Chestnut Hill, a prestigious boarding school with a rich tradition of academics, horses, and rivalry.* There are lush green lawns with white, post-and-rail fences, beautiful well-looked after horses. Beech trees line the graveled driveway and are everywhere on the lawn.

Join us and compete in prestigious advanced events, learn the basics of riding or relax in along the trails.

*Taken from blurb of the first Chestnut Hill book.

Chestnut Hill Academy is based on the books by Lauren Brooke.

Chestnut Hill caters for all people of riding levels.

Time
Time tends to be a complicated thing, as it can be hard to keep track of and a thread can take a couple of weeks to complete. So we've decided to have 'days'. Days last for a couple of weeks and everyone will get a PM about the new day, as long as your account is activated. Basically when a new day starts everyone drops the threads that they are in and start or reply to new ones. They also post in the school. We will give you three days warning then the new day starts. You have a week to reply to the post.

Rankings

Winners will be random, (as it says in the rules) but there is more to it than that.

We will decide the winner of each class by throwing two die. As you might guess the number that they get is what they come. If we throw a number twice, we throw the dice again until it comes up with a new number. We obviously don't do this for the last person in the list. Of course there are 11 possible numbers so we will write the numbers down and put them in order. Then we will decide the rankings.

The disciplines

Cross Country
Show Jumping
Dressage

Classes
In each discipline there are 3 classes, beginner, intermediate and advanced. So, the most a class will have is 8. You do not have to enter every class. In fact, shows are not compulsary. You don't have to enter them.

Lessons
There are 3 instructors, one for each level.
Terry Blackthorn- Advanced.
Steph Brown- Intermediate.
Rebbecca Califer- Beginner.

In the joining area their profiles will be posted. Staff will play them.
To book a lesson message one of the staff.

School is an activity check. There will be a message posted on the classes board and you must reply. This will happen once a day (game time). You will have until the next day (game time).
