nestled deep in the hills of kentucky lies shady lane ranch. surrounded by beautiful yellow poplars and eastern hemlocks, shady lane ranch is a pitstop for all those horse-crazy fans that think they can ride. competition is great, and whoever has the fittest horse wins it all. teenagers from all over the country come and even move here just so their horse gets the proper care and health needed to compete. but what some people say about shady lane, is false. it's not a big barn. in fact, it can only hold about 60 horses. however, this will only give competitors more the reason to get their horse into one of those stalls. shady lane isn't only about those fast, high-jumping horses, it's about the friend- ships made and the horses created. lessons are offer- ed, both english and western, along with uncountable number of trails. for some this is paradise, for others, it's a danger zone. which one are you?
